"Half way to the Highland Games" Kilted Ski

Ode to the New Hampshire Highland Games

As the ancients give pause, the cool mist rises,
Loon Mountain hums an eternal whisper gathering the Clans.
.
The mighty bow their heads in reverence for the Festival afore us.

For today, for this gathering, every soul is an honorable brave Scot.

The majestic lead the pipes and drums to the
Granite Stone that marks these games and Welcomes us all.

This past weekend my hubby and I participated in the
"Half Way to the Highland Games"
Kilted Ski.
